Urshifu VMAX TG21/TG30

Urshifu VMAX comes from the Trainer Gallery subset of Brilliant Stars, an English set in the Sword and Shield era. The Trainer Gallery (marked by the TG numbering, here TG21/TG30) is a special collection of alternate artwork cards that often pair a Pokemon with a trainer or place it in a distinctive scene, giving each card a stronger sense of story.

As a VMAX card, Urshifu represents the powered up Dynamax form, which in the game brings very high hit points and a powerful attack. The VMAX mechanic builds on the V card it evolves from, and the Trainer Gallery printing gives this Urshifu a collectible artwork variant beyond its standard set appearance. Collectors look for TG cards to round out the most visually distinctive part of a Brilliant Stars collection.
