Mareep GG34/GG70 comes from the Galarian Gallery subset of Crown Zenith. The Galarian Gallery is a special pocket of cards within the set, numbered separately with the GG prefix, and it is prized for alternate artwork that often shows Pokemon in detailed, scenic settings. This Mareep is card thirty four of the seventy card gallery.
Crown Zenith closed out the Sword and Shield era, and the Galarian Gallery quickly became a collector favourite thanks to its illustrated style. Mareep is a gentle, well loved Pokemon, and the gallery treatment gives it artwork that stands apart from a standard set printing.
Collectors who follow Crown Zenith often work to complete the full Galarian Gallery, which makes each GG card a meaningful piece of the puzzle. Whether you are chasing the gallery or building a Mareep collection, this card is a lovely addition to recognise and enjoy.
