This is Koraidon ex from the Scarlet and Violet Base Set, presented as a gold Hyper Rare. Koraidon is the Legendary Pokemon featured on the cover of Scarlet, and the ex mechanic marks it as a high power single card with strong attacks and a higher HP pool than a standard rare.
Hyper Rares carry a full gold finish across the entire card, framing the artwork in metallic gold rather than the usual border. The 254/198 number reflects this, running past the official set count to mark it as one of the bonus cards added at the very end of the list. That placement makes gold Hyper Rares some of the harder cards to pull from the set.
Collectors chase the gold Koraidon ex for its scarcity, its Legendary subject and the premium gold treatment. It is a fitting centrepiece for a Scarlet and Violet Base Set collection or a Legendary themed binder.
