This is Great Tusk EX, card number 123/198 from the English Scarlet and Violet Base Set, the release that launched the Scarlet and Violet era. The EX tag marks it as a Pokemon EX card, the powerful single Pokemon style that anchors much of this set, generally presented with foil and striking artwork.
Great Tusk is one of the ancient paradox Pokemon introduced in the Scarlet and Violet generation, a prehistoric counterpart design with a massive, tusked frame. Its bold look and its role in the paradox story make it a popular pick among fans following the newer lore.
As part of the Scarlet and Violet Base Set, this card draws interest from collectors building the base set in full and from those keeping the paradox Pokemon together in a themed binder. It makes a strong centrepiece for anyone working through the EX cards of the set.
