Gordie 223/203 is a Rainbow Rare Trainer card from the Evolving Skies set, part of the Sword and Shield era. With its number sitting above the set total of 203, it falls into the secret rare bracket, the cards numbered beyond the official count that round out a set. Gordie is a Gym Leader from the Galar region, and here he features as a Supporter card.
The Rainbow Rare treatment gives the card its signature pastel, multicoloured finish with a textured surface that catches the light. Rainbow Rares were among the most prized pulls of their era and sit at the top end of the rarity ladder for the sets they appear in.
Collectors look for Gordie as part of a full Evolving Skies secret rare run, or as one of the Galar Gym Leader cards given the Rainbow treatment. Character focused Rainbow Rares like this one are popular display pieces and appeal to fans completing the higher tiers of a set.
