This is Eiscue EX from Obsidian Flames, the Scarlet and Violet era set, numbered 042/197. As an EX card, Eiscue carries a higher HP total and the two prize penalty that comes with the modern EX mechanic, marking it out from the standard cards in the set.
Eiscue is the Penguin Pokemon introduced in the Galar region, instantly recognisable for its frozen head and the way that look changes in battle. Its EX printing gives collectors a chance to add a fuller, holographic treatment of a Pokemon that does not always headline a set.
Within Obsidian Flames, EX cards like this one are popular with players assembling decks and with collectors completing the set. A copy that holds clean centring and sharp corners is the kind worth recognising for a binder or a playable list.
Condition and authenticity
This card meets Monster Mart's Mint condition standard:
- Corners: No visible fraying or whitening

- Surface: Free of scratches, dents, creases or smudges
- Centering: Within 60/40 front limit
Every card is authenticated and thoroughly inspected by Monster Mart, and ships tracked from Brisbane in protective sleeves and rigid holders.
