Coalossal VMAX Rainbow 189/185 is a Rainbow Rare from Vivid Voltage, an English Sword and Shield era set. With the first number (189) higher than the set total (185), this card sits beyond the main numbered set in the secret range, which is where Rainbow Rares are placed. The Rainbow finish covers the artwork in shifting pastel colours over a textured holographic surface.
As a VMAX, Coalossal represents the Dynamax form built on its VMAX mechanic, bringing a large hit point pool and heavy hitting attacks that make it a deck anchor. VMAX cards fill the full card face, and the Rainbow variant layers the extra colour treatment over that large format, giving collectors a distinctive chase version.
Rainbow VMAX cards appear at a low frequency in their sets, so a clean copy of Coalossal VMAX Rainbow appeals to collectors building the Vivid Voltage secret list or completing a Coalossal line.
