This is Cinderace VMAX from Fusion Strike, the large Sword and Shield era expansion celebrated for its extensive card pool. Cinderace, the final evolution of the Galar starter Scorbunny, was a fan favourite from the moment the region was introduced, so its VMAX printing was a welcome inclusion in the set.
As a VMAX card, Cinderace VMAX represents the Dynamax form of a Pokemon V, carrying very high hit points and a larger, dramatic illustration in the bold VMAX frame collectors recognise from the period. The card sits at number 045/264 within Fusion Strike. VMAX cards were among the centrepieces of decks during the Sword and Shield run, and they remain popular display pieces today. Collectors who favour the Galar starters or who are working through the Fusion Strike set tend to keep an eye out for this Cinderace to anchor a themed collection.
